He dresses in shabby finery that looks faintly satirical. He wears a cracked mask, cloven diagonally in two, one side grinning, the other weeping. From the mask's forehead sprout small, bull-like horns. He is a travelling player, head of the 'Theatre of Nightmares', whose experimental performances are known to incorporate various forms of fate-reading, but especially weaving, mixing history and future, and bringing the audience into the story.
